The EmancipatorKINGDOM CULTURE
If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
— John 15:19
Sons of God are a unique breed of beings (2 Corinthians 5:17). We are divine beings, and so, though we live on earth, in the Christ era, we are not humans. Therefore, Jesus' words in our opening scripture are apt. We are in this world but not of it. With this understanding, it is important that as sons of God, we not only know that we belong to a different kingdom but learn how things are done in the kingdom in order to enjoy life on earth. Life in Christ is really good, but if you are not cultured in the way of the kingdom, you will be so frustrated and even doubt the reality of it all. This will not be your story as you patiently follow and study this week's devotions to discover the kingdom culture of all those who are awakened to their being in Christ.
Thank You, Father, for another opportunity to be instructed in Your Word. I am grateful that I am maturing daily as Your son/daughter. Hallelujah!
