For they that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew him not, nor yet the voices of the prophets which are read every sabbath day, they have fulfilled them in condemning him

It appears to me that many people have forgotten that in Genesis 3:8, it was NOT a holy book that came to Adam but God, the Holy Spirit; and also, that in John 16:7, it was NOT a book that Jesus promised but God, the Holy Spirit. Furthermore, I perceive that many have forgotten that the Pharisees who missed Jesus in their day, weren't ignorant of the scriptures but unlike Simeon, they were ignorant of the Spirit. Concerning the issue of immortality, I strongly want to urge everyone who has theological questions to just put your theology aside for a moment and talk to the Holy Spirit in you to guide you into the truth of the matter (John 16:13). Holding on to theological ideas instead of listening to the Spirit within to lead you into the Word, can mislead you. With the Holy Spirit in us, we cannot be confused. Let's consult Him instead of theology.
Dear Holy Spirit, I am glad that my oneness with You is my advantage to knowing the truth. My heart is yielded to Your guidance into the truth of my immortality in Jesus Christ.
